Most of us spend our New Year’s Eve either by partying hard or having a good dinner with our families. Sleeping late during the eve comes as no surprise and we often wake up around lunch time during January 1.
In my case, I didn’t sleep at all during the eve. After joining the countdown in Makati with my family, I joined my friends in their unit in BSA Towers for a small after party. I remember leaving the unit at around 5:30 am or so.
Lo and behold, I was greeted with the smokey, foggy and eerie ambience of Ayala Avenue. Strangely enough, we were talking about the possibilities of a zombie apocalypse a few hours earlier. Fortunately, there weren’t any zombies, not counting the occasional drunks, and I asked Julian to pose for a meager portrait session.

This is Makati? wow.. it doesn’t look Makati at all, it looks like a foreign place
nice pics!
@Aj Banda
HI Aj! I think it was the smoke and ash that fell from all the fireworks. The smog actually makes it feel like London or any foggy foreign country.
Nice shots!
