Children, regardless of their actions, always bring a smile to people. I believe that we see them as symbols of hope and of life, that’s why their very presence makes us happy. It’s no surprise that most parents celebrate their child’s 1st birthday.
Its interesting to watch baptisms unfold. A baby is presented upon an altar, priest pours water on his head and then reminds parents of their responsibilities towards the Ultimate Being and to the baby as well. Babies wear an all-white piece of clothing, white symbolizing innocence
Baptisms are very different from either debuts or weddings. Unlike a couple or a debutant, you can’t ask a baby to pose for you and trying to do so may only give you frustrations. Be that as it may, a baptism is still a beautiful event, wherein the main subject is an innocent child.
